Chocolate covered strawberries with oreos

I kept on forgetting to get this up but here's a sweet treat i made for Valentines day for me my boyfriend and son. This is a very simple recipe that any one can try.

Ingredients

1. A pint or bigger of strawberries  
2. A melting chocolate of your choice ( you can use any chocolate you want but you would have to add other ingredients to melt it to a smooth finish so you can dip them)
3. A cup of Oreo's 

Directions

1. Clean the strawberries off and make sure there clean of any imperfections.
2. Let the strawberries dry or pat them off with a paper towel
3. Smash the Oreo's into crumbs
4. Melt the chocolate:

• Put the melting chocolate in a microwavable bowl, reheat every 30 seconds until melted
• If you want to make you own all you have to do is break up any bark of chocolate of your chose in to a heat safe bowl and apply hot heavy cream to it. You can also apply butter to the mixture. (Choice)
• Mix until completely melted

     5.  Dip each strawberry in to the mixture, shake off the excess or let it drip off.

     6.  You can either dip the strawberry into the crumbled Oreo's or sprinkle them on

     7. Place the strawberry into a non-stick pan or line a pan with parchment paper.

     8. Let cool or stand until they have harden.
